My experience with Leeds Motor Cars Ltd has been good. I made the journey from Bolton to Leeds to purchase a 2009 Honda Jazz that was available. Firstly, I could not get to the showroom in the business's normal working hours, so they made an exception for me to arrive after closing time to pick up. I picked the Honda up; all was exactly as it was stated on the advert – clean, in good condition, full MOT, etc. I was happy with the purchase; however, unfortunately, on the journey home, the vehicle broke down! On the MOT was one advisory listing that there was a coolant leak. I came to the conclusion that with the vehicle being stood for a few weeks before I set off in it, it must have drained all of the coolant and, therefore, the engine overheated causing the breakdown. Following the breakdown, I informed the business owner, who was very distressed to hear what I had to say. He came out to pick me up from the location where the vehicle had broken down, which I was very appreciative of especially with it being after 9:30pm, and offered to transport me anywhere I needed to go so I could get back home. He drove me 20 mins to the local train station from where I broke down and he told me he was going to investigate the issue and confirm a diagnosis to me the following day. He even offered me a full refund immediately too should I want one. These are things which a lot of motor dealers would not do for a customer, and this is what separates Leeds Motor Cars Ltd from the typical car dealership. He provided me with the following day to the cause of the fault, and we came to a decision that I was to be issued with a refund. In terms of purchasing a used car, yes, it was unfortunate and very unlucky to have a new-to-you car break down on your first journey; however, overall, the customer service I have received from the owner of this dealership has made my overall experience one that is good. So if you're looking to purchase a used car, then I would thoroughly recommend Leeds Motor Cars Ltd.
